Lots of people ask me what my Tattoo means on my ankle. It means:

1-Keep Your Head Up (Arrow Pointing Up)
2-Be Positive (Backwards P)
3-Trust In God (T&G)

How To Get Into Radio

Lot of people ask me how to get started in radio. Most Program Directors are more than happy to take on interns that will help out with the station. This means work for free! Which is exactly what I did at 96Rock in Atlanta for 6 months. I was 25 years old then and had a lot of free time. Eventually, the PD asked me when I wanted to go on the air. My first shift was 12am to 8a. Wow. Even after Midnight in Atlanta, hundreds of thousands heard me everytime I cracked the mic.
The key is that I was willing to do anything for the radio station to earn my stripes. I went to remotes. I put up banners. I ran the board. And the payoff was incredible.
